INTERIOR DESIGN
The interior designers of Richard Powell and Partners aim to provide the client with a vast and intricate insight into the proposed design and layout of their project.
Our job is to convert technical drawings into visualisations that are user friendly, redefining the plans, sections and elevations into a format that is easily understood and can be envisaged by the client.
We believe that it is important to understand the user's needs, the proposed use of the building, the existing building and the former use of its occupancy. All of these aspects play an integral part in establishing a design and form of the interior, bringing the end user and the building into unison.
All of our ideas are realised by using a varied range of 2D and 3D computer packages, sketches, research, mood and sample boards. All plans, sections, elevations are drawn using AutoCad.
The visuals are created using 3D studio max, Form z and Photoshop. Form z enables us to produce accurate 3D drawings in a number of different views including axonometric and perspective.
The entire building can be viewed as well as perspective views as if a snapshot were to be taken within the building. Form z also enables us to use accurate materials giving the impression of a photorealistic image. Full use of lighting and shadows also aid this effect.
