Seren Group's ‘Diner Project’ Completed

Powell Office Furniture has today completed fit out work on Seren Group’s new Diner project, handing over the finished space to its owners in Exchange House, Newport, Wales. Having previously lived life as a cluttered storage room, the space has been transformed into a well-lit diner where employees can come to socialise.

Speaking at the opening Darrell Bolton, Corporate Director for Fairlake, said; “The brief was to provide a light airy space where employees could eat, chill and meet. Powell’s have done an excellent job, designing and creating a modern environment with the relaxed feel we were looking for. We named it the ‘Diner’ as it is an informal place where staff can get away from their work environment and take those all-important breaks. It is such a versatile space, that we are encouraging staff and board members to use it as much as possible for things such as team and informal meetings. We are so delighted with the facilities the Diner has to offer, that even visitors to the building have been invited in to use the space!

The Diner is just the latest project to be completed for Seren Group by Powell Office Furniture, with on-going office refurbishment work still happening at their Devon Place building. That is a project due for completion at the beginning of November and is part of an on-going relationship between Powell and the Seren Group.
